Everything here is packed by the studios that made it, so shipping works a little differently from a warehouse that ships in minutes. Here is what to expect once you place an order.
Where we ship
We currently deliver across India. We do not ship internationally yet, though we hope to open that up as the house grows. If you are outside India and really want a piece, write to us and we will see what is possible.
How long dispatch takes
Because a real person prepares and packs each piece, dispatch takes 2 to 4 working days after your order is confirmed. Made-to-order pieces take longer, and the product page will tell you how long before you buy.
Delivery estimates
Once your order leaves us, courier time is on top of the dispatch time above:
- Metro cities: usually 3 to 5 working days after dispatch.
- Other cities and towns: usually 5 to 8 working days after dispatch.
- Remote or hard-to-reach areas: may take a little longer, and the courier will keep you posted.
These are estimates, not guarantees. Festivals, weather, and courier delays can all add a day or two, and we appreciate your patience when they do.
Shipping charges
Any shipping charge is shown clearly at checkout before you pay, so there are no surprises. From time to time we offer free shipping over a certain order value, and when we do, it will be visible on the site.
Tracking your order
The moment your order ships, we send a tracking link by email and SMS so you can follow it to your door. You can also see the status any time under your account, or on our Track Your Order page.
Getting your address right
Please double-check your address and phone number at checkout. A wrong or incomplete address is the most common reason a parcel goes astray, and re-shipping to a corrected address may take extra time and cost. If your details change after you order, tell us quickly and we will update them if the parcel has not yet left.
Undelivered parcels
Couriers usually try to deliver a few times. If they cannot reach you and the parcel comes back to us, we will contact you to arrange re-delivery, which may carry an extra shipping charge, or a refund for the pieces minus the shipping already spent.
Something wrong with your delivery?
If your parcel looks delayed, damaged in transit, or opened, do not accept a clearly tampered package, and write to us at hello@houseofjd.in or call +91 98765 43210, Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00 IST. We will chase the courier and sort it out with you.
